ABSTRACT
There are many mushrooms that have been used as
pharmacological recipes for a very long time in Asia. Cordeceps mushroom is good
example. It is widely used among the Chinese ethnic people aiming at
maintenance of normal physiology. The problem due to use of medicinal mushroom
has been sporadically reported for many years. Here, the authors report a case
of hematuria after Cordeceps mushroom intake. This case study can be a good
information triggering the concern for control of te presently uncontrolled use
of medicinal mushroom products.
