ABSTRACT
In Asia and Oceania, the
traditional herbal remedy is widely used and accepted as a primary health care
wisdom. Nevertheless, the problem of the uncontrolled non-standard remedy is
usually seen. Here, the authors report a case study on severe hypokalemia
caused by traditional herbal remedy. This report brings attention to recognize
the possible problem of the traditional herbal remedies that exists in several
countries.
