ABSTRACT                                                                                           

 

Cinnamon is an important tropical plant. The cinnamon’s bark is a well-known spice that has an aromatic condiment. The health effect of cinnamon is interesting. Some researches mention for the usefulness of cinnamon in management of medical disorders such as diabetes mellitus. The possible adverse effect of cinnamon is interesting but little mentioned. In this case report, the authors report and discuss a case of acute hepatitis induced by cinnamon.

ABSTRACT                                                                                           

 

Dengue infection is an important tropical arbovirus infection that is common in several tropical countries. Mainly, dengue presents as an acute febrile illness with possible chance of hemorrhagic complication. Sometimes, the dengue patient might have an atypical clinical presentation and the case might be difficult for diagnosis. In this article, the authors report a case of a male patient who firstly presented with the chief complaint as palpitation and finally got the diagnosis as dengue.
