ABSTRACT
Acute myocardial infraction with ST-segment elevation
(STEMI) is most often caused by the occlusion of only one large epicardial
artery. Simultaneous thrombosis of two or more coronary arteries is a rare
cause of STEMI. In this article, the authors present a case of a 56-year-old
man with STEMI who was diagnosed with simultaneous occlusion of the right
coronary artery and the left anterior descending branch of the left coronary
artery.
